Kjell Arne Ingebrigtsen (70), Chairman, private consultant, adjunct professor NTNU.
Dr. Ingebrigtsen has senior industry experience at executive and board levels of Norwegian and international companies primarily in the life science sector. He was managing director of Vingmed Sound AS from its founding in 1985 until 1995. From 1995 to 1998 he was Managing Director of the Swiss company Sonotron AG, then the owner of Vingmed Sound AS and 13 other subsidiaries for sale and service of imaging products in Europe and in Asia. In 1998 Sonotron AG, including Vingmed Sound and all other subsidiaries, was acquired by General Electric, Medical Systems. Dr. Ingebrigtsen continued as Managing Director of GE Ultrasound ,Cardiac Systems until 2000, when he retired from executive responsibilities at GE. Dr Ingebrigtsen served on the board of Vingmed Sound AS from 1995 to 1998. Following the acquisition by GE, he served as a Chairman of the board of GE Vingmed Ultrasound from 1998 to 2006. Currently GE Vingmed Ultrasound AS is a world leader in cardiac ultrasound imaging.
For a period of 23 years from 1961 to 1984 prior to his business career, dr. Ingebrigtsen was a researcher at FFI (Norwegian Defense Research Establishment), and at Sintef, and a full professor in physical electronics at The Norwegian University of Technology (NTH). Since 2001 he has returned to the university, NTNU.
Currently Dr. Ingebrigtsen serves on the board of several companies. Several of these are early stage companies in the life science sector. Ingebrigtsen has been a member of the Board since 2003.

Jónas Einarsson (50), Board Member
Dr. Jónas Einarsson is CEO of The Norwegian Radium Hospital Research Foundation and Chairman of the Board of the newly founded Oslo Cancer Cluster. Dr. Einarsson gained his MD from the University of Oslo, has worked as chief regional medical officer in Norway and was responsible for building Norway’s first private hospital institution, Oslo Private Hospital. Dr. Einarsson is also chairman or member of the board of several Norwegian biotechnology companies. Einarsson has been a member of the Board since 2007.
Morten Eriksrud (62), Board Member
Dr. Eriksrud is managing director of Optoplan AS, a technology company that has over the last 20 years developed and manufactured fiber-optic sensing systems for the oil&gas industry. Optoplan is today owned by Wavefield Inseis ASA. Eriksrud is the founder of Optoplan and is also a co-founder of InvivoSense. Eriksrud has been member of the InvivoSense Board since the company was founded. Eriksrud has been a member of the Board since 1998.
Eriksrud’s investments over the last years have been through the company Saturnos AS. He is also chairman of the board of Optoinvest AS. His business address is Haakon VII’s gt 17, Trondheim, Norway.
Toril A. Nagelhus Hernes (40), Board Member
Dr. Hernes (Mrs) is MSc and has a PhD in biophysics and medical technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She is currently Research Director at SINTEF Medical Technology and Professor in medical technology at NTNU. Hernes has over the last years been engaged in medical technology in general and medical imaging in special and has served at several boards and committees within this field nationally and internationally. Hernes has been a member of the Board since 2007.
Tove Nedreberg (44), Board Member
Mrs. Nedreberg has a Bachelor in Business Administration and is Vice President at Adresseavisen ASA. She has previously held positions within finance and administration at Aftenposten and Norges Handels og Sjøfartstidende. Currently Mrs. Nedreberg serves on the board of several companies. Nedreberg has been a member of the Board since 2007.
Jostein Vik (34), Board Member
Mr. Vik is Partner in Viking Venture Management, the advisor to the Viking Venture funds. Viking Venture's investement focus is ICT, energy and medical technology.
Mr. Vik has experience from Orkla ASA, Carlsberg Breweries, Lilleborg and Orkla Media before entering into venture capital in 2001. Since 2001 Mr. Vik has held board positions and has been active in developing companies like Nacre AS, Safetel AS, Plasus Technologies AS, Xvision AS, Viseno.no AS, Revolt Technology AS and Cinevation AS. Vik was elected as a board member in InvivoSense AS in 2002.

Heidi Blengsli Aabel (45), Board Member
Mrs. Aabel has a Bachelor in Change Management and an MBA in Project Management and is currently Vice President Solutions at Fara ASA. She has previously held positions as Consulting Partner and Consulting Manager, and has experience as CEO and Vice President within technology and IT companies. Currently Mrs. Aabel serves on the board of several companies and organizations.
Aabel has been a member of the Board since 2007.
